What is a wedding bounty?

A bounty is the brief you would otherwise retype into a dozen vendor contact forms: your wedding date, where it is, roughly what you have to spend, and which vendors you still need. You write it once, it goes on the public board, and the vendors who want the job come to you.

What does it cost a couple to post one?

Nothing while we launch. There is no card, no code, and no commission on anything you go on to book. Paid posting is not switched on yet, and no price on this site is charged until it is.

How are vendors matched to my bounty?

Every vendor is scored out of 100 against what you asked for, on five things: the type of vendor you need (30 points), whether their pricing fits your budget (20), how close they are to your venue (20), your style (15) and any specialty you named (15). There is no paid placement inside the score. The full formula, with a worked example, is on the homepage.

How long does my bounty stay on the board?

30 days. We email you before it comes down, and renewing is one click from that email.

Do vendors see my name and contact details?

Accepted Answer

Not until you reply to them. A vendor reads your bounty and sends a pitch through the site; you stay anonymous while you read it. Nothing about you reaches a vendor because they pitched you.

What does it cost a wedding vendor?

Accepted Answer

Nothing while we launch, including pitching. Paid vendor tiers are being built and are not on sale, so nothing you set up now sits behind a card. We never take a commission on a booking.

Question 7

How many bounties can a vendor pitch on?

Accepted Answer

As many as fit the work, but only one pitch per bounty. That is what keeps the board readable for the couple, and it is why the one pitch you send actually gets read.
